Hey! I’m Arran portrait and documentary photographer based in Scotland.
After pursuing photography at a young age, I studied at Edinburgh college graduating with a Ba Hon’s in professional photography. Through my time at college i developed my technical and professional skills which led to a deep fascination with portraiture and documentary photography.
Through a mix of long term personal projects and commissioned commercial work which to date has been primarily studio based product work, my images craft compelling visual stories that reflect context and character. I capture the likeness of my subjects with precision and sensitivity, emphasising authentic expression in a perceived environment.
